AUJS Executive Committee Elected for 2021

After our first-of-its-kind Zoom AGM, AUJS is proud to announce the new AUJS Executive Committee for 2021!

AUJS NSW President Gabrielle Agosin will take the reins from Joshua Kirsh as AUJS President, whilst AUJS VIC Jewish Engagement Officer Natalie Gunn will succeed Gabriella Davis as AUJS Vice President.

Agosin said: “After spending 2020 as the AUJS NSW President, I am excited to embark on the next step of my AUJS journey as the AUJS President for 2021. I’m looking forward to working with Nat and the rest of our committee to reinvigorate AUJS for our current and future members.”

Gunn said: “I am so honoured and excited to be elected as Vice President of AUJS for 2021. I am looking forward to working with Gabi and all of the AUJS leaders across Australia and New Zealand to help AUJS make a positive impact on our members.”

Kirsh reflected: “AUJS has not been immune to the challenges of the past year. I want to pay tribute to my incredible committee for their hard work over the course of the last year and for the work they will do to see us out in the coming months. Throughout this period, both Gabi and Nat have demonstrated extraordinary creativity, leadership, and a deep passion for engaging Jewish students. They - and the rest of the incoming team - are a credit to our community and I couldn’t be more excited to see what they do next.”

AUJS CEO Nurit Feldman: “I welcome and congratulate the new cohort and I thank the outgoing president Josh Kirsh and his team for the wonderful work they did in these crazy times of COVID-19. Every president brings their own passion to the role, to grow the organisation from strength to strength. I am excited to start working with Gabi Agosin, AUJS’ incoming president, and our 120 new volunteers.”
