Members from near and far, you are hereby invited to attend the AUJS Victoria 2021 AGM.

The 2021 Annual General Meeting will take place at 10:00am on Sunday 26th September 2021 via Zoom.


What is the AGM?

At the AGM, you can look forward to reports by the 2021 Victorian Executive, constitutional amendments and elections to the Victorian Executive of 2022.

Elections will be held for the following Executive positions:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Political Affairs Director
Empower Director
Social Officer
Jewish Engagement Officer
Campaigns Officer
Leadership & Development Officer

Nominees for these positions will be able to make speeches as follows:
President – 6 minutes
Vice President – 5 minutes
All other positions – 4 minutes

The Important Stuff

To nominate for a position, please complete the Executive Nomination Form and send it to the Returning Officer via email. Nomination forms will be accepted no later than 10:00am on Sunday 26th September.

Persons intending to run for an Executive position, or wishing to hold votes, must be a financial member of AUJS Victoria or an affiliated campus organisation in 2021. Votes will be allocated to campuses according to the formula contained in the AUJS Victoria Constitution. See the copy of the current Constitution below.

Any proposed amendments to the constitution must be submitted in writing to the Returning Officer by 11.59pm on Sunday 12th September 2021.
